Lawyer Dai Qin holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Commercial Law from the University of Manchester, UK. She has been recognized by the Ministry of Justice of the People’s Republic of China as one of the “Top 1,000 Foreign-Related Lawyers.” Additionally, she serves as the Liaison Officer for Foreign-Related Lawyers in Guizhou Province — a position held by only one person per province. Dai is also a lecturer for the Foreign-Related Legal Services Lecture Series organized by the All-China Lawyers Association and was one of 50 lawyers selected for the “2019 Foreign-Related Lawyers Training Program” in the United States. She is a member of the Expert Advisory Panel of the Guizhou Provincial Government’s Legal Advisory Office and has long served as a legal advisor to various institutions. She also acts as a project evaluation expert for the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce. Furthermore, Dai is a participant in the Ministry of Justice’s Senior Foreign-Related Talent Training Program and a member of the Public Welfare and Social Responsibility Committee of the All-China Lawyers Association.
Dai specializes in cross-border bankruptcy, foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions, and intellectual property law. She has advised numerous overseas-listed companies and large state-owned enterprises on both litigation and non-litigation matters, including the delisting and closure of their overseas subsidiaries. She has also supported companies in investment deals, M&A transactions, and compliance work — ensuring smooth negotiations and successful outcomes. In the area of intellectual property, she has worked with several global luxury brands to protect their trademarks and related rights in China. Additionally, Dai has assisted clients in identifying and completing cross-border investment projects, guiding them through the full process — from sourcing opportunities to closing deals — while effectively managing legal and operational risks.
