A representative case involved representing a trust company in a dispute over a trust product default exceeding 400 million yuan with a investment company in Hubei. In this case, Dr. Wu accurately timed his approach, leveraging the investment company’s concerns about political and commercial repercussions of default. He initiated high-pressure negotiations through litigation, compelling a pre-trial settlement, successfully recovered over 400 million yuan within just half a month. Additionally, in cases such as a contract dispute between a trust company and a Xinjiang-based company over the shortfall liability for a trust plan exceeding 300 million yuan; a trust dispute between a trust company and a Hangzhou-based company concerning the trustee’s fiduciary duty; and a securities misrepresentation liability dispute between Mr. Hong and a securities firm and an accounting firm. The equity sale dispute between a trust company and a corporation, concluded at the Sichuan High People’s Court, exceeding 1 billion yuan. A capital withdrawal dispute between a trust company and a corporation, with a claim amount of 638 million yuan, concluded at the Chengdu Intermediate People’s Court. A series of successful cases involving the commercial credit insurance for financial leasing of Sunshine Property Insurance Co., Ltd., which intersected criminal and civil law and involved supervision by insurance regulatory authorities.
