Mr. Wu Ge, male, born in May 1967, is of Han ethnicity. He holds a master’s degree from the Law School of Renmin University of China and a postgraduate degree from the School of Economics of Peking University. He is a non-party personage and a new social stratum personage under the contact of the United Front Work Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and a nationally outstanding lawyer.
Mr. Wu Ge is the executive vice president of the Case Law Research Society of the China Law Society, a supervisor of the China Disabled Persons’ Welfare Foundation, a standing director of the Fifth Council of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and a member of the 14th Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. He is also the initiator of the “China Influential Litigation” selection activity. Since founding BZW Law Firm in 2001 and serving as its director, Mr. Wu Ge has been committed to promoting the progress of the rule of law. In 2003, he initiated the “China’s Top Ten Influential Litigations” selection activity, which, through classic cases such as the Sun Zhigang case, has had a wide and profound impact on society. Additionally, he has actively participated in the drafting of legislative proposals to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers in cities and other special groups.
