On the morning of July 8, 2025, the signing ceremony for the Practical Teaching Base between BZW Law Firm and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law (SHUPL) was successfully held at the BZW Shanghai Office. Professor Wei Zhixun, Dean of the Law School of SHUPL, Dr. Wang Xiao, Director of the Office, and student Qiao Kexin were warmly welcomed by a delegation from BZW, including Liu Bin, Member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and Director of the Shanghai Office Management Committee, as well as Management Committee members Fu Bing and Wang Yidong. Representatives from both parties gathered to chart a new course for the deep integration of legal practice and legal education.

Dean Wei Zhixun introduced SHUPL, covering its development history, scale of faculty and students, and academic construction. Founded in 1984, SHUPL was approved in 2024 as a doctoral degree-awarding unit with a first-level discipline doctoral program in law. The university emphasizes talent cultivation and legal practice and looks forward to working with BZW Law Firm to provide students with extensive and in-depth learning and practical opportunities.
Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on bridging legal education and practice, talent cultivation models, and resource-sharing platforms, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.
